🤔 How was I using it without knowing it was in beta?
I just inspected the API calls that the Developer Console uses when submitting "Explain Query" requests. So I then mimicked those calls in the "Salesforce Field Usage Extension" I released in January.
Then there is this other great beta feature on the SF CLI: sf api request rest - allows calling the REST API from the command line
