This week I read an article by Ibrahim Diallo that had this interesting example of communication from a developer all the way to a non-technical stakeholder.

Each audience has their own language. What sounds natural to us, can be unintelligible to someone else. So we have to adapt communication style and content and translate between these "languages".

All three sentences in these cartoons describe the same technical decision, but the message is crafted for each audience.

Of course, if a person knows more than one language, it facilitates a great deal.
