✨ The SFDX Data Move Utility ✨
It’s an advanced SF CLI plugin for data migration within various Salesforce environments and has a number of features:
👉 Org-to-Org direct migration, CSV import/export
👉 manages multiple objects relationships and complex references (circular and self references), which is stronger than basic CSV loaders
👉 external IDs can be composite and include formula/auto-named fields for upsert logic
👉 deals with data anonymization
👉 a export.json config file drives the migration, which can be source-controlled
I haven't had a chance to use SFDMU myself, but I've read from others that it is one of the best open source data migration tools and has been used successfully in large scale implementations.
It seems to be great in dealing with record-based configurations of managed packages like CPQ, Vlocity and nCino.
There is a separate GUI app to help with the configuration too.
