Once upon a time, a client asked whether a particular product could actually perform sentiment analysis on voice transcripts. The vendor assured them it could, but the client was a bit skeptical.

So I went on a quest to find this product in action.

First stop: the vendor’s website, where I was met with some blogs talking about sentiment analysis but no demo in sight.

Then I went to their YouTube channel, hoping to catch a glimpse of the magic. Instead, I found a lot of people talking about the product (even from their bedroom!) … but still, no demo.

It seems they love writing and talking about the product and forgot to show it?

The attached image is the one and only visual I managed to find related to sentiment analysis.

Ironically, it shows a person saying he wants a refund and “I’m not sure I want to keep buying things from you guys anymore.” 😬

That must not be a real person since Kylian Mbappé is a famous French soccer player! 🇫🇷⚽️

But that image is almost like a subliminal message against the product itself! 😅

There are people employed there that need business but this isn't helping them!
