🧩 I've noticed the number of users of my GPT browser extension has been decreasing since last month and only this week I had time to investigate the trouble.
Ideally, users should be able to open the extension from any Salesforce page and be able to ask questions about it and receive an AI generated explanation. The extension no longer was able to submit some of the pages to OpenAI.
Salesforce has made some changes to their pages that broke one optimization I had done to speed up the extension.
So I've fixed that, improved the UI a bit and made GPT 4o the default option.
The changes are in this most recent version 1.06.
Now I have another extension just waiting for Google's approval to be published: this one will be for Jira and Bitbucket!
