At least one client is having an issue with this recent VPN restriction security policy.

It can freeze users who are using a VPN while traveling. Sometimes not even logging in, but apparently a refresh token request can cause the account to be frozen and having to reset password.
On the other hand, I had a client years ago that had someone working on their org - supposedly from Houston, Texas. But I've noticed while looking at the login history that he had IP addresses alternating between India and Germany.
I've asked that person about it and he denied logging from those locations, but soon after he came up with a "broken ankle" and simply stopped responding and disappeared. 🤷♂️
So if anyone is still sharing credentials and delegating to people overseas to do their work, this VPN restriction will likely prevent that arrangement. There were state actors taking advantage of that too so it is a good thing.
